At FlySafair we offer a range of payment solutions to make the purchasing of tickets as simple and safe as possible. Customers have a range of options when it comes to making payment for flights. Below we list the available payment methods.
By far the most simple method of payment is via credit card on our website. This secure payment method will ensure immediate settlement meaning that you can be rest assured that your tickets are confirmed.
Our Payment Partner is called PayU. PayU is one of the world's foremost payment service providers who protect your transactions with a robust double firewall, SSL encryption, 3D Secure, and fraud detection facilities.
At FlySafair we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Diners International cards.
We also now offer a save credit card function on our client login portal. You can register and manage your interactions with us on this portal, and with the saved card function, it offers you express check-out.
You can now also use the digital wallet service, Visa Checkout, as a safe, simple and speedy payment option.
We also have a facility where customers can choose to pay later. Using this method, for a small fee, you are able to secure your flight prices fr 24 hours in which time payment must be made using a credit card or internet banking.
Payments can now also be made on the FlySafair website with your RCS card, which means you can fly now and pay for your flight over a number of months. This is part of our continuous efforts to provide you with an easy and convenient shopping experience.
RCS payments are available up until 4 hours before a flight.
To make use of this payment method, you need a valid RCS card, and have registered on the RCS app. Apply for your purchase via the app, which will then provide you with a One Time Pin (OTP) you need to use on our payment page to verify your purchase. Internet Banking - Secure Instant Deposit (SID)
Some customers prefer not to enter their credit card details online. For these customers we offer an alternative which is effectively an EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) solution.
This payment solution is facilitated by our payment partner SID (Secure Internet Deposit). This system ensures that your EFT payment is linked to your booking immediately ensuring that full settlement takes place and your ticket is confirmed. SID is recognised as South Africa's most trusted payment alternative to credit cards.
Cash payments are accepted in three ways. Bookings can be made and paid for in cash at any of our airport ticket sales counters at OR Tambo, Lanseria, Cape Town International, King Shaka, George, or Port Elizabeth airports. Please note that a service fee of R100 will be charged for bookings made at our ticket sales desks.
In addition to this, customers can also make a booking on our website and elect to make payment at any Pick n Pay counter country-wide. Upon making your booking you will be furnished with a code to take to any Pick n Pay till. Payment needs to be made within 24 hours of making the booking and you can use any payment method accepted by Pick n Pay including credit cards, debit cards and cash. Lastly, bookings can also be made at any Checkers and Shoprite Checkers MoneyMarket Counters country-wide.
Payments can also be made on the FlySafair website using vouchers. Vouchers are issued with two codes, a voucher number and a PIN. These details can simply be entered on the payment page of our website to make a purchase.

Our call centre is also available for customers to make reservations between 7am and 7pm, 7 days a week. The call centre accepts credit card payments. Please note that an additional service fee of R100 will apply per booking booked through the call centre.
