Port Elizabeth is interestingly situated between summer ad winter rainfall regions, so the area tends to experience rain throughout the year. That said the climate is generally a very temperate sub-tropical one. Histrorically most rainfull tends to occur between March and June.
Summer starts in mid to late November and stretches through to the end of March and early April. Temperatures on hot days can climb quite high into the thirties.
June, July and August are the winter months in Port Elizabeth, but temperatures remain fairly moderate, occasionally dropping just below freezing in the early mornings.
