Normal FlySafair tickets are non-refundable. If, for some reason you need to cancel you trip, we offer the option to change your ticket dates, routes, or the names of the passengers travelling for a small fee. Our customers reached out to us and expressed the need for an option to be able to cancel tickets, which is how this upgrade was developed.
The upgrade facility can only be purchased when making your original booking on flysafair.co.za for R200 per ticket. Should you need to cancel your trip for some reason, you are required to notify FlySafair more than 3 days before the flight departs. FySafair will then refund you 80% of your purchase in the form of a voucher that can be used to purchase any future flight. These vouchers will be valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
