This year is jam-packed with amazing events to participate in. The Sports Events Calendar
16 - 18 January - The Dusi Canoe Marathon. The Dusi Canoe Marathon takes place between Pietermaritzburg and Durban. The best bet is to fly into Durban and then rent a car to get out to the race.
09 - 11 February - The Buffalo and Selborne Buffalo Regattas. These rowing competitions take place in the Eastern Cape. FlySafair connets East London to Johannesburg and Cape Town with regular flights to get you to the regatta. Your boat will unfortunately have to go by road.
11 - 12 February - The Midmar Mile. This epic swimming event will takes place on the Midmar Dam in KZN. The Midmar Dam is about an hour and a half drive outside of Durban. We offer daily flights to Durban from Cape Town and Johannesburg.
10 - 12 March - The Cape Town Cycle Tour. This is the largest timed bicycle race in the world and takes place in the incredible city of Cape Town. 4 June - The Comrades Marathon. This epic 89km ultramarathon takes place between Durban and Pietermaritzburg. Cath an easy flight to Durban from Cape Town or Johannesburg and be fresh and rested for your run.
